Firewise USA

Local Safety Solutions

Every year, wildfires burn across the United States.Having experienced the 2014 King Fire and the 2015 Butte Fire, you know it’s not “if,” but “when” our communities see the next threat.

The National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) Firewise Communities/USA program encourages local solutions for safety by involving homeowners in taking individual responsibility for preparing their homes from the risk of wildfire.

Let Amador Fire Safe Council Help You Get Certified

Your neighborhood community can take steps to reduce fire threat by becoming a Fire Wise community.
