Partnership Award

On June 27th 2017 Thomas Tinsley from CALFIRE presented the AFSC with a Partnership Award atthe Amador Board of Supervisors meeting. The AFSC is honored by this recognition and looksforward to many more years of partnership with CALFIRE.



Amador Calaveras Consensus Group

The Amador Fire Safe Council is a member of the Amador Calaveras Consensus Group (ACCG). ACCG
​is a community-based collaborative. Its members include state and federal agencies, business owners, nonprofit organizations, elected officials and private individuals. The group focuses on a triple-bottom-line approach to environmental, economic and community issues. It makes decisions by consensus and works primarily in the upper Mokelumne River and Calaveras River watersheds east of Highway 49.

 ACCG Mission Statement: Amador Calaveras Consensus Group is a community-based group of diverse stakeholders that works to create fire-safe communities, healthy forests and watersheds, and sustainable local economies.
