Vegetation Management Scheduled for this Fall

The Amador Fire Safe Council (AFSC) has several projects that will be implemented this fall. With a devastating fire season in California the importance of vegetation management projects are highlighted. Projects include shaded fuel break development and roadside clearing to improve ingress and egress.

The AFSC has released three request for proposals and hopes to select contractors for these projects by the end of September. To read more about the AFSC current projects, check out the AFSC Current Projects Page.

The Request for Proposals (RFPs) for all three projects are available here on the ‘Employment Page’ of the AFSC website:  www.amadorfiresafe.org/employment

Proposals must be received by September 23rd; each of the three projects has a pre-proposal site visit for contractors. Review the RFPs for dates and RSVP details.
